1. Winterfest Kickoff

The Winterfest celebrations kicks off in November at Patriot Park with everything from games and entertainment, to free trolley tours of lights! Children of all ages can participate in old time games during the festivities. The stage entertainment begins shortly after with great live performances from the Pigeon Forge Community Chorus, Boogertown Gap, Hills-n-Hollows, and the Lost Mill String Band. Finally, guests can enjoy a complimentary trolley tour of the city’s Christmas lights.

2. Thanksgiving Fireworks at the Titanic Museum

This amazing event features four million Christmas lights as well as incredible holiday performances, including Dollywood’s A Christmas Carol, Christmas with the Kingdom Heirs, and O’ Holy Night. Kids will enjoy the opportunity to meet Rudolph and his friends, as well as the chance to visit Santa’s Workshop. The Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dollywood runs from early November 7 until early January.

5. Saddle Up

Finally, vacationers can celebrate the American West at the Saddle Up event at several locations in Pigeon Forge in February. This is the perfect event to let out your inner cowboy as you enjoy fun activities like chuck wagon cookoffs, workshops, seminars, cowboy dances, and much more. In addition, several intimate dinner concerts are held with live entertainment from great performers like Wylie & The Wild West, Brenn Hill, and Andy Nelson.
