1. Perfect Location for a Family Reunion

Christmas is the perfect time to get together with family members from across the country. The Great Smoky Mountains provides a central location for those from eastern, southern and central parts of the U.S. In fact, the Smokies are just a day’s drive from over 60% of the population! Why not plan a big family reunion to make this holiday extra special? Spend less time traveling and more precious time with each other.

2. Accommodations for Any Group Size

No matter how many people are in your party, there is an Acorn Cabin that will fit your needs. If your Christmas plans include numerous family members, you could choose to rent a few one bedroom cabins or two bedroom cabins in Gatlinburg, allowing each immediate family space and privacy. A second option is to rent one of our large group cabins in the Smoky Mountains that can accommodate anywhere from eight to 24 people. There is nothing like having the entire extended family together under one roof!

Our cabins come with all of the amenities you need for an amazing Christmas vacation.

Many cabins are equipped with fireplaces, large screen televisions, and Jacuzzi tubs. Guests can also choose accommodations that have an indoor pool, theater room, and even aLarge Smoky Mountain cabin at night.jpg game room equipped with a pool table. Imagine the fun you could have while waiting to open those much anticipated gifts!

All of our vacation rentals come with fully furnished kitchens, so you can prepare a homemade Christmas dinner right in your cabin.

3. Seasonal Entertainment

Staying at an Acorn Cabin during the holidays offers easy access to some terrific entertainment. There are always great choices in the Smoky Mountains, but Christmas time is extra special here!

During the holiday season, the city of Gatlinburg will offer trolley tours for viewing the amazing Christmas lights located throughout the downtown area. Guests can also enjoy an incredible lights display set to music at Smokies Park as part of Shadrack’s Winter Wonderland.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and all of his friends from the iconic holiday special will be visiting the South’s favorite theme park this year for the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dollywood. For more seasonal fun brought to you by Dolly Parton, be sure to check out the “Christmas in Dixie” dinner show at Dixie Stampede. The show features jaw dropping trick horseback riding, a mouthwatering meal, and an incredible nativity season.
