Live Art Demonstrations at the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair

How would you like to take home a piece of art made right before your eyes? From October 10th through the 27th you will have the chance to see some of the best craftsmen in the United States demonstrate their trade at the 38th annual Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair.   Recognized as one of the top 20 events in the southeastern U.S. by the Southeast Tourism Society, the Craftsmen’s Fair is held minutes away from our Gatlinburg cabins.

This year’s fair will feature two hundred booths displaying handmade artwork and products, including pottery, dishes, stained glass, clocks, oil paintings, leather belts and much more. All of the craftsmen will be on hand to answer questions and to show off their skills to the fair’s guests. The artists who take part in the event undergo a jury process to assess their quality and skill, so only the best of the best make it to the convention floor.

The Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair is held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center located at Traffic Light #8 in downtown Gatlinburg. The fair is open from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m to 5 p.m on Sunday. Adult admission costs $6 and children 12 and under are admitted free.
